It is a great way for them to discover and explore interesting history and technology with a real hands-on approach, guaranteed to inspire and entertain young children. They even have a beautiful nature trail and lovely grounds to walk around including a nice shaded picnic area to eat the delicious food that you have collected from the market.

One of the most famous tourist attractions in Panama is the Canal which connects the Atlantic with the Pacific Ocean. This incredible feat of brilliant construction is a site to behold, so why not take a cruise and see it in all its glory. Surrounding the canal and in local areas are a number of amazing restaurants to wine and dine as you feast on the masterpiece of engineering and delicious food at the same time. Panamanian cuisine is a mixture of Latin American, Afro-Caribbean and European flavors. Typically consisting of succulent meats, seafood and coconut rice, together with some of the freshest vegetables and fruits you are ever likely to taste you are really in for a treat.

Going to Panama wouldn’t be complete without visiting the stunning and beautiful beaches and islands nearby. They really are some of the best in the world for shining sun and fun. The San Blas Archipelago beaches have crystal clear turquoise waters and fine white sands. The 378 islands have been protected from development and tourism so you can experience unspoiled heritage in all its beauty. Red Frog beach is also highly recommended for a day trip. It’s name given because of the cute red frogs that can be spotted along the shores. This beach of one of the most special and unique to Panama. With long stretches of sand enclosed by wild lush vegetation, it really does show the beauty of its local nature along with the beaches. The currents and winds also can reach quite high so it’s known as one of the best surfing beaches in the country.
